Who We Are

Coping with terminal illness presents many challenges. Our skilled professional staff and trained volunteers walk along side those who are facing life-challenging illness; supporting them, their families and friends.

The goal of the hospice team is to be sensitive and responsive to the special needs of each individual and his or her family. Bethell Hospice supports all facets of life and regards dying as part of a normal and natural process.

Bethell Hospice is a not for profit organization and all core services are free of charge. We rely heavily on fundraising events and private donations to supplement the funding we receive from the Central West LHIN and Central West CCAC.

Our community programs are geared to the population of Caledon and our residential hospice, Bethell House offers comfort, dignity and symptom relief in a beautiful nurturing environment to residents of Central West LHIN and all other Ontario residents that meet the admission criteria.

Hospice care is available to any person at any age who needs support through a life challenging diagnosis, life challenging illness or the loss of a loved one.
